- 2022 VW Atlas SEL sport utility
Hello All,
My name is Bassam, I'm new to this forum and I'm looking for some answers to my VW Atlas problem. I recently bought a 2022 VW Atlas SEL Sport Utility 3.6L 4motion from an auction in Texas as a project to work on for myself. The care has a severe noise in the rear drive / cardan shaft (The drive shaft that connects the transmission with the rear differential). After a thorough inspection, I found that the the middle joint of the drive shaft is broken from inside. I googled the Internet to find out a DIY on how to fix this issue, but I found nothing for Atlas. I found for other VW models such as Tiguan or Audi but not for Atlas. I wonder if you can recommend a reference on how to fix it. I don't want to get one from the Junkyard as it is expensive and around 450 dollars.
Your help is much appreciated.
Best regards,
Bassam
